Was ist Volley Talents?

In den Regionalzentren sollen die Talente gefördert werden, welche das Potenzial für die Nationalkader haben. Durch eine Steigerung der Volleyballtrainingszeiten und der gleichzeitigen Koordination der sportlichen und beruflichen Laufbahn soll dieses Vorhaben in die Praxis umgesetzt werden.

Volley Talents ist das Volleyball Regionalzentrum Rapperswil-Jona von Swiss Volley und nahm seinen Betrieb im August 2007 auf.

Zielsetzung

Volley Talents will den Talenten der Region eine Möglichkeit bieten, Leistungssport auf höchstem Niveau zu betreiben, ohne die schulische und berufliche Entwicklung zu gefährden. Die wichtigsten Ziele von Volley Talents sind:

Hochwertiges Trainings- und Betreuungsangebot
Gleichwertiges Angebot für Halle und Beach
Angebot für die Altersklasse von 13 bis 20 Jahren
Professionelles Umfeld für Trainer und Athleten
Enge Einbindung der Vereine in der Region
Enge Einbindung der Regionalverbände
Nachhaltige Förderung des Volleyballsports in der Region
Beitrag zur Trainerausbildung in der Region

Der Zeitplan für die weiteren Ausbauschritte hängt von den infrastrukturellen und finanziellen Möglichkeiten, den gemachten Erfahrungen und den Entwicklungen bei Swiss Volley und in anderen Regionen ab.
